Objective:
The Pennington® Décor team puts out a yearly trend book that showcases the projected trends in home décor but had been using their Powerpoint slides to print the book from in past years. For the 2020 Trend Book, they tasked the Creative Team with coming up with a sleek new design that was true to the Pennington® Décor branding while highlighting the forecasted trends for 2020.
Solution:
Part of the Pennington® Décor branding was the use of watercolor swatches, so watercolor images for each trend were pulled in along with a variety of lifestyle photos – including some of Pennington® Décor’s pottery – to help set the tone of the trend for the customer. Color bars were added down the side of the trend pages to emphasize that trend’s mood. The Pennington® Décor team was very pleased with the clean, refreshed look.
